Orgel in Amman technisch fertig gestellt

Am 21. Juli 23 haben wir den technischen Aufbau mit Mechanik und recht komplizierter Elektrik (18V= sowie 42V Wechselstrom) fertiggestellt. Dazu haben wir in jedem Manual/Pedal ein bis zwei Register plaziert und somit das Instrument spielbar gemacht.

Wer etwas bildnerische Sehkraft etwickeln kann, der sieht durch die Fräsungen und differenzierten Farben, ein polyphones Spiel an den Vorderfronten der Prospektpfeifen. Ich hatte Gelegenheit mit Bornefeld, der selbst zum Fräser griff in Murrhardt,  ein paar vergleichbare Pfeifen zu fräsen und Bornefelds Ideen von Initiator umfassen erklärt zu bekommen.

Jordanien ist ein kompliziertes Pflaster für solche Arbeiten. Dazu kommen Temperaturen von tagsüber 52Grad vor und 32Grad in der Kirche, was die Kräfte rasch schwinden lässt.

Ja, es war eine schwierige Etappe, die wir als Zwei-Mann-Team hier in Amman ganz gut bewältigen konnten.

On July 21, 23 we finished the technical construction with mechanics and quite complicated electrics (18V= as well as 42V alternating current). For this we placed one or two stops in each manual/pedal and thus made the instrument playable.

If you have some visual acuity, you can see the polyphonic play on the front of the front pipes through the milling and differentiated colors. I had the opportunity to mill a few comparable pipes with Bornefeld, who himself took up the milling cutter in Murrhardt, and to have Bornefeld’s ideas fully explained by Initiator.  

Jordan is a complicated place for such work. In addition, temperatures of 52 degrees during the day in front of and 32 degrees in the church, which makes the forces quickly dwindle.

Yes, it was a difficult stage, which we managed quite well as a two-man team here in Amman.
